Free search
- The name you type is compared in memory and is not stored, logged or shared. The result page is generated for your request only.
- To enforce the 30-a-day limit we store a one-way hash of your IP address with a counter that expires after 24 hours. The raw address is not stored.
Free watch (one name)
- We store your email, the one name you asked us to watch, signup time, confirmation status and the country Vercel reports for the request (spam control).
- Used only for the confirmation email and alert emails about that name. Every email has an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing deletes the record.
Watchlist and Batch (paid)
- Payment is processed by Stripe. We receive the email address you enter at checkout, the payment status, the country of the card and your answer to the “what are you screening” question; card details stay with Stripe.
- We store the names you enter (up to 100 for a Watchlist, 1,000 per batch), the results of each run and the list version used, under a private access token. Names are deleted 30 days after the subscription ends or the batch expires.
- Emails (link to your page, new-match alerts, monthly record) are sent from ofac@mail.sl-studio.dev via Resend. Transactional only; no newsletter.
- Do not enter data you are not allowed to process. The names are your counterparties, customers, payees or donors; we act as a processor for your screening.
The lists
The names we compare against are the US Treasury’s published sanctions lists (public domain). Program and update pages reproduce names from those lists with a link to the official entry. Requests to correct or remove a listing go to OFAC, not to us.
This website
- Cookie-free page view counts (Vercel Web Analytics): page path, country, device type, no identifiers.
- Hosting on Vercel (US), storage on Upstash (US), email via Resend, payments via Stripe.
Your rights
Email hello@sl-studio.dev from the address you used to see, export or delete what we hold. We answer within 30 days. See also the terms and the disclaimer and data source.
